The Event: Wild Deer Epic Gravel Rides
Taking place on Saturday, 24th October 2026, this brand-new sportive promises huge scenery and a true adventure through some of the North East’s most iconic landscapes. Starting and finishing at Blaydon Rugby Club in Newcastle upon Tyne, riders will have the choice between a punchy 50km loop or a full 100km epic.

Whether you win the competition or are already signed up, make sure you come and track us down! The Vielo team will be exhibiting at the event village with a fleet of bikes, and we’ll also be clipping in and riding the routes alongside you. It’s the perfect chance to chat about all things gravel, check out our latest builds in person, and share some post-ride stories.

Competition Terms & Conditions

Eligibility: The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 and over.

Entry Period: The prize draw closes at 23:59 on September 30th.

How to Enter: Entry is automatic for all active subscribers on the Vielo mailing list during the entry period.

The Prize: One winner will receive two entries to the Wild Deer Epic Gravel Ride (50km or 100km) on October 24th, one night's twin accommodation including breakfast at the Holiday Inn Express Gateshead on October 23rd, and a post-ride Vielo bike test ride.

Prize Conditions: The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and no cash alternative will be offered. Travel to and from the event is not included and is the responsibility of the winner.

Winner Selection: The winner will be chosen at random from all eligible mailing list subscribers shortly after the closing date and will be notified via email. If the winner does not respond within 48 hours, a new winner may be drawn.
